Most people were shocked to learn that Joseph Parker and Jack Massey would be fighting on the Eubank-Smith undercard. Massey, a native of the Peak District, started his professional career in 2013 and has always competed as a cruiserweight. However, he returned the favor by landing heavily and cleanly on Joyce, who is nicknamed as the “Juggernaut” for a reason since he can simply walk through anything.
Parker, who is trained by Andy Lee, has lost before and was stopped in his most recent fight, so Massey is aware that he has a chance to damage the Kiwi. However, Joyce demonstrated his strength and toughness in his most recent battle, still standing in the face of overwhelming artillery while many others would have fallen.
