Juan Francisco Estrada Analysis: He’s won 28 fights by KO

On August 30, 2008, Juan Francisco Estrada started his professional boxing career. Frequently praised as one of the most accomplished and resilient boxers of his time, Estrada has fought in 47 bouts to date, winning 44 (28 by knockout) and losing 3 of them. His style, which combines aggression, endurance, and skill, has made him a dangerous opponent in the ring. One of his most memorable fights was a recent decision victory over Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez. He fought Carlos Cuadras twice and won both times; these were some of the most impressive bouts of his career. In addition, Estrada faced Thai champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai twice, winning the second fight to exact revenge for his first defeat.

Jesse Rodriguez Analysis: Young and strong fighter

Rodriguez, a 24-year-old southpaw from San Antonio, recently won two world titles at 112 pounds after an outstanding ninth-round TKO victory over Sunny Edwards (20-1, 4 KOs), the previously undefeated world champion, in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale last December. Prior to that match, “Bam” defeated Cristian Hernandez in San Antonio by outpointing him, earning the vacant WBO flyweight title. He had overcome a broken jaw. His victory over Carlos Cuadras in February 2022 to claim the WBC junior bantamweight world title, demonstrating his skill and stamina, was a pivotal point in his career. Other noteworthy opponents for Rodriguez include Israel Gonzalez, whom he met in September 2022 and successfully defended his championship against.
