Teofimo Lopez Analysis: He only has one loss in his career

As of right now, Teofimo Lopez, also known as “The Takeover,” has a record of 20 victories (13 via knockout) and 1 loss. He was raised in a Honduran immigrant home and began boxing at the age of six. He played well in his amateur career and even went to the 2016 Olympics as a Honduran representative. After the Games, he immediately went pro. He defeated Richard Commey in 2019 to win the IBF lightweight championship belt. After overcoming Ukrainian Vasiliy Lomachenko, he went on to become the youngest unified world champion in lightweight history and added the WBA and WBO belts to his collection. His lone loss to date came from losing the belts to George Kambosos Jr. in 2021.

 

Steve Claggett Analysis: Experienced veteran fighter

From Calgary, Canada, Steve Claggett is a professional boxer who started fighting at a young age. In 2008, Claggett made his professional boxing debut after leaving a lasting impression on the Canadian boxing scene. Claggett In addition to winning multiple regional titles, he also took home the junior welterweight crowns from the WBO and IBF International. Throughout his career, he has seen fierce competition, but he has shown himself to be an accomplished fighter who never gives up. He has faced well-known opponents including Emanuel Lopez, Konstantin Ponomarev, and Chris van Heerden. With a winning streak of nine fights, Claggett comes into this match with a 38-7-2 professional record.
