Today the Boston Red Sox will play host for the Cleveland Guardians as they start a four-game set at Fenway Park. This is going to be their second meeting of the season with the Red Sox coming out on top the first time, sweeping the Guardians in a three-game series.

While the first game was obviously a fluke, Boston can’t afford another loss like that, especially against the Cleveland Guardians.

Cleveland will send out Zach Plesac to the mound today, who is making his 18th start of the season. The 27-year-old righty is dragging a 2-7 record with a 4.02 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP over 94 innings pitched while striking out 68. This season he hasn’t been looking that hot on the road as he is 1-5 while playing in opposing teams’ ballparks.
