The Kansas City Royals will try to come back into the series as they took a 6-2 loss against the San Francisco Giants yesterday at Oracle Park. Bubic is holding a questionable 9.13 ERA and a 2.03 WHIP over 22.2 innings pitched. His ERA is the best indicator on why he hasn’t been able to pick up a single win yet, and throwing against the Giants won’t be easy.
The San Francisco Giants will send out Logan Webb as their starting pitcher, who is making his 13th start of the season. Webb’s numbers look much better as he is on a 5-2 record with a 3.77 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP over 71.2 innings pitched.
The 25-year-old right-handed pitcher picked up his 2nd loss against the Colorado Rockies, after he allowed 3 runs on 7 hits and 1 walk across 5.2 innings. Though he’s been a competitive pitcher in the league, Webb needs to solidify his form as he’s been unimpressive in his last outings.
