In his last outing on Sunday, he gave up 6 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks across 2 innings and picked up the loss against the Washington Nationals.
This pitching matchup is looking very interesting, and even if the Mets are the favorite team, the Rangers get solid pitching from their starters in most games, Otto being a very good example. Given that the Mets are struggling, it wouldn’t be crazy to see Otto outpitch Bassitt and lead the Rangers to victory.
