The Toronto Blue Jays take a trip to Camden Yards, where they’ll face the Baltimore Orioles in the opener of a three-game series. Jorge Mateo opened the scoring with a solo homer in the third, but the Pirates went up for good in the fifth inning and dominated the rest of the game. The Orioles offense has not been the strength for the Orioles, who are averaging 4.23 runs per game on a .695 team OPS
Jordan Lyles is heading to the mound, making his 23rd start of the season for the Baltimore Orioles. He is holding a 8-8 record with a 4.40 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP over 124.2 innings pitched while striking out 104. On the other side, the Toronto Blue Jays reply back with Yusei Kikuchi. The 31-year-old lefty carries a 4-5 record with a 4.86 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP over 74 innings pitched while striking out 84 throughout 19 outings.
