Game Preview

No Khris Middleton? No problem. The Milwaukee Bucks went to Chicago without their starting guard and won two games in a row to take a 3-1 lead in their NBA Playoffs first-round series against the Bulls.
Chicago suffered its worst home playoff loss ever after losing Game 3 by 30 points (111-81). Game 4 wasn’t much different as it ended 119-95.
In Game 3, Grayson Allen came off the bench to lead the way with 22 points. He shot 71.4 percent from the three point line (5-of-7). In other words, he was on fire!
In Game 4, Giannis Antetokounmpo took over and finished with 32 points, 17 rebounds, and seven assists. Allen added another 27 points thanks to another incredible performance from the three point line (6-of-7).
“Obviously much needed. The time was right, and he’s been really good. I think he’s just embracing the moment, embracing the opportunity. I think the guys are doing a good job screening for him, things like that,” Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer said.
As for the Bulls, Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan led the way in both games. That’s a problem, because Lavine is out for Game 5 after entering the league’s Health and Safety Protocols. If the Bulls couldn’t win with him on the court, can you imagine the result without him?
To give you an idea, the Bucks come in as the NBA betting favorites by 12 points (-110). As for the Moneyline, Milwaukee is offering a -900 price, while Chicago is +650.
Curiously enough, the Bucks are 0-5 against the spread in their last five games at home. However, this seems like the perfect opportunity to end that streak, right?
Regarding the total, it’s set at 217½ (-110o/-110u). The total has gone under in Chicago’s last five games when playing on the road against Milwaukee.
Besides Lavine, Alex Caruso was also added to the Bulls’ injury report. The starting shooting guard in the first four games is questionable due to a concussion. As for Milwaukee, Middleton (knee) remains out, while George Hill (abdominal) is questionable. Nevertheless, with the series under control, it’s unlikely for the Bucks to risk him.
