This Monday the New York Knicks welcome the Milwaukee Bucks to Madison Square Garden at 7:40 PM EST.
The Knicks will look to continue their hot streak and earn their fifth straight win, while the Bucks will look to bounce back after their loss to Charlotte.
New York comes in with a 22-18 record and a 4-game winning streak against Houston 108-88, Phoenix 102-83, San Antonio 117-114 and Toronto 112-108.
Their offense is led by Julius Randle with 24.4 points per game, followed by Jalen Brunson with another 20.9.
It is important to mention that Randle will have to put more effort on his part as they may not be able to count on R.J. Barrett due to a finger injury.
Milwaukee had a very strong start this season, but has had inconsistency issues. One example is when they lost four games in a row during Christmas week. Now they are coming off a 138-109 loss to Charlotte, where the Hornets had already taken a big lead in the first quarter that the Bucks were never able to recover.
One of the Bucks’ main problems is their inconsistent defense, they have allowed at least 130 points in five games this season.
Their offense is led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and his 32.0 points per game, followed by Jrue Holiday with another 18.2, Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis contribute 14 each.
The Bucks offense is averaging 112 points per game and now face a potent defense that gives up only 111 points per game.
This is a tough call but I’m going with the Knicks on this one. The Bucks loss to Charlotte was pretty disappointing and the Knicks will be playing at home so I’m going with the hosts.
