Game Preview

The NBA All-Star Weekend and the trade deadline are coming up quickly, but there is still a lot going on on the court. A terrific matchup between two teams that have recently been playing strong basketball is available on Monday night. The longest active winning run in the league at seven games is held by the Milwaukee Bucks. Meanwhile, the 26-27 Portland Trailblazers have won five of their last seven games.

Khris Middleton rejoined the Milwaukee Bucks rotation seven games ago after a brief G League trip, and it’s not a coincidence that Milwaukee began racking up victories at that point. Middleton is a seasoned All-Star who, while not being at full strength, is the ideal player for the Bucks bench at this time.

Middleton can simply aim to fill it up because he frequently teams up with Jevon Carter, Joe Ingles, and Wesley Matthews, and he has done exactly that, particularly over the previous three games. Middleton has played about 20 minutes per game on average over Milwaukee’s last three victories, averaging 19.3/5.7/3.0.

Let’s check the latest picks, NBA news, stats and NBA expert picks for Bucks vs Trail Blazers. We’ve plenty of NBA predictions for you to consider.

He will start alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and company once he returns to full health, but for now, this is one of those ideal lineups that you wish you could somehow maintain for the long term. They appear to have really found their footing, and if Middleton stays on for a while as a sixth man, they’ll look even better.

In recent weeks, the Blazers have added a couple players to their own bench who have benefited. Although Gary Payton II isn’t quite producing the numbers the organization expected when they gave him a $26 million contract this offseason, he still makes for an excellent backcourt partner for either Damian Lillard or Anfernee Simons.

Unfortunately for them, it appears like there isn’t really anyone on the Blazers who can slow Antetokounmpo down. Josh Hart is a fantastic defender, but he isn’t nearly large enough to do the job, and Eubanks isn’t the kind of rim protector who can slow Antetokounmpo down. However, if Portland is well-prepared for this game, we may witness a thrilling confrontation between these two teams.
