The Philadelphia 76ers will have a challenging task tonight as they look to avoid a three-game losing streak. Last Wednesday, the 76ers lost to Washington 121-111 and on Friday 106-10 to New York, with both defeats coming at home. James Harden (22 ppg, 10 apg, 7.0 rpg) did not play on Friday and is expected to miss a month with a right foot tendon strain.
Although the 76ers should be motivated to snap a two-game losing streak on Monday, motivation alone will not be enough. The 76ers have already suffered on a three-game losing streak to start the season, and they aren’t getting enough points to back them up against one of the best teams in the NBA, especially with Joel Embiid being a game-time decision.
