Friday’s game between the Canisius Golden Griffins and the Fairfield Stags at Leo D. Mahoney Arena pits two Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference foes against one another. Last Sunday, Canisius upset the Siena Saints 66-62, making it three victories in a row for the Golden Griffins. In the meantime, Fairfield defeated St. Peter’s Peacocks 56-52 on Saturday to end a three-game losing streak.

Over the course of the game, the Stags managed to record one steal and nine blocks.

The Golden Griffins have averaged 63 points over their last five games, while the Stags have scored 63.8 points over their previous four contests.
