Iowa vs Duke: Predictions & Analysis 12/06/2022

Game Preview

Game Preview

This Tuesday, December 6, we can witness another NCAAB showdown as Duke faces off against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Duke will obviously be looking to avoid another loss and get back to winning ways. Duke has had games against good opponents where they have accumulated both losses (Kansas, Purdue) and wins (Ohio, Boston). In their game against Boton on Saturday, they covered the spread by 17 points. The offense was led by Mark Mitchell with 15 points, followed by freshman Kyle Filipowski with another 13 points and 10 rebounds. Filipowski is a promising young player. The Blue Devils average over 72 points per game with Filipowski and Roach being the leading scorers.

On the other hand Iowa is having a very good season, their only loss was to TCU in the Emerald Coast Classic title game. Iowa is being led by Kris Murray, who is averaging 21 points per game, the only player to surpass the 20-point mark in a game this year.

They are proving to have one of the best offenses in the league. They do their job well when they have to protect the ball and their shooting numbers are good. They have good shooters averaging double digits, including Patrick McCaffery, Filip Rebraca and Tony Perkins.

It is certain that Iowa will try to open the court with a lot of shooters, something that would benefit them playing against Duke. They take care of the ball a lot and they have Murray who is one of the best players in college basketball. Offensively Duke has also looked very good at times. Remember the Blue Devils are good size and very athletic.

It will be interesting to see how the Blue Devils make things difficult for Iowa’s explosive offense.

Let’s check the latest NCAAB picks, news, stats and NCAAB expert picks for Iowa vs Duke. We’ve plenty of NCAAB predictions for you to consider.
