Princeton won their latest matchup in unexpected fashion 59-55 versus Arizona, while Missouri advanced convincingly with a 76-65 win over Utah State.

Missouri’s win versus Utah State was their first officially in the NCAA Tournament since 2010, as they managed to upset 7th seed Clemson 86-78. D’Moi Hodge stepped up offensively against the Aggies scoring 23 points while finishing half of Missouri’s 10 total 3 pointers. The senior guard took a while to warm up with most of the points coming in the second half, recording 15 points in the last section of the match.

Hodge placed 2nd on the team in scoring with an average of 15.1 points per game with senior guard Kobe Brown being the one on top with 15.9 per bout. Brown grabbed 19 points against Utah State plus also having an impact defensively with 8 rebounds.

As for Princeton, they have been more patient than Missouri to win a victory in the NCAA Tournament, their latest win over Arizona was their first since way back in 1998. Tosan Evbuomwan stepped up to double figures versus the Wildcats, with 7 of 15 from the field ultimately grabbing 15 points. The senior forward also posted 7 rebounds while pushing his creativity forward thanks to 4 assists.

Beside Evbuomwan, sophomore guard Blake Peters finished with 9 points having real impact from the bench. Princeton’s main focus came to live down the stretch, coming back after trailing Arizona 55-50 with 5 minutes remaining thanks to a 9-0 run.

Princeton might be incredible later in the contest, however we believe Missouri’s offense will be too much to handle for them.
