They were taken down by five at Wisconsin to drop to 1-1 in the Big Ten this season and then ended up dropping a contest to Tennessee in the 2022 Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational on Sunday.
After having a 21 points disadvantage, the Terrapins were fighting back to pull to within two points with under 30 seconds left to play. Unfortunately for Maryland, they couldn’t get over the bump. Jahmir Young scored 18 points in the defeat as he continues to lead the Terps in scoring this season. Against Wisconsin, Maryland shot 33% from the field but did improve to 50% during the second half.
