The Chanticleers did a pretty good job versus App State in their last game, posting 476 total yards (192 rushing), 23 first downs, 37:56 in time of possession and 9-of-15 on third-down tries. It was Coastal’s highest points total since September 22 (41).
As for Southern Miss, they looked bad versus a mediocre Georgia State team over the weekend, putting up just 202 total yards, 16 first downs, two turnovers and 2-of-14 on third-down tries. It would be a huge turnaround for the team to be competitive here.
