Cincinnati is aiming to extend its streak of six straight wins when it hits the road to face New England on Saturday afternoon. On the other hand, Cincinnati had a disappointing 4-4 start to the season, but has strung together six straight games to take control of the AFC North. The Bengals have a one-game lead over Baltimore in the standings and are one game behind Kansas City/Buffalo at the top of the AFC standings.
Their winning streak was at risk last week when they fell behind 17-0 to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, but forced four second-half turnovers. They outscored Tampa Bay 31-6 after intermission and won with an 11-point lead at the end. Quarterback Joe Burrow completed 27 of 39 passes for 200 yards and four touchdowns, keeping him on the brink of the MVP race.
