The Broncos had 33 carries for 101 yards against the Niners’ sturdy run D. Melvin Gordon scored a TD but also fumbled twice while averaging just 2.2 yards per rush. Javonte Williams added 58 yards on 15 totes, while Courtland Sutton caught eight of his ten targets for 97 yards.
Denver’s offense has struggled mightily through the first three weeks, averaging 14.3 points per game (31st in the NFL) on 230.3 passing yards (18th) and 117.7 rushing yards. At least their defense has been outstanding so far, allowing 12.0 points per game (2nd in the NFL) on 170.0 passing yards (3rd) and 81.3 rushing yards (6th).
