They also forced two turnovers, something which they failed to do in any of their two losses after forcing three in their first victory.
Looking at the other side, the Browns have performed well this season despite the absence of Deshaun Watson, as both of their losses have happened by three points or fewer. Last week, against the Falcons, Cleveland got to within 20-17 with 9:51 left in the game, but two consecutive Atlanta field goals led them to defeat.
While both defenses are coming off strong performances last week, they have underperformed this season, with each conceding fewer than 20 points only once. For their part, the Chargers have scored more than 24 points in three games this year, while the Browns have never scored fewer than 20 in each of their four games.
