In their last matchup against the New Orleans Saints, the 49ers went into the locker room with a 10-0 advantage. San Francisco managed to score three points in the second half for a 13-0 shutout. Jimmy Garoppolo posted 222 yards with a touchdown, while Brandon Aiyuk caught five balls for 65 yards.
Ultimately the Dolphins are on a pretty nice run right now, and they took care of a bad Texans team in their last encounter. Miami posted 339 yards (66 rushing) against Houston with 25 first downs and just four penalties. The Dolphins now have hit 30 or more points in four straight matches.
Looking at San Francisco, they did have a nice defensive line in the win over the Saints, even if the game was a little stale. The 49ers allowed 260 yards and 14 first downs in the shutout victory. San Francisco might have the tools to win this one, but Miami won’t give them an easy time.
