Ravens Analysis: Looking for the first win of the season here
The Ravens lost 27-20 to the Kansas City Chiefs despite having Isaiah Likely enter the game just moments before they could have tied it. Even though the Ravens outperformed the Chiefs 10-7 during the fourth quarter, it was insufficient. On the depth chart, Mark Andrews is ranked first, yet Likely seems to be the best tight end. He hauled in 9 catches for 111 yards plus a touchdown in the opening contest. Lamar Jackson gained 273 yards, a single touchdown, and no interceptions by completing 26 of his 41 attempts. Jackson performed fine, but he still needed to improve his consistency and made some terrible throws. Additionally, the defense struggled, allowing up 27 points; they cannot repeat that performance here.
Raiders Analysis: Struggled in their last game
The Raiders battled mightily in the first game and had some serious problems. The Raiders offense was shut out by the Chargers with just 10 points, which was the cause of their loss. They led 7–6 at the half, but as the game progressed, their offense simply wasn’t strong enough. The Raiders defense handed up 13 points in the fourth quarter, which was the reason for the loss. On the ground, the defense absolutely labored. J.K. Dobbins ran ten times for 135 yards with a touchdown; therefore, the defense will require significant improvement. In his 25 attempts at passing for 257 yards, a single touchdown, as well as one interception, Raiders under center Gardner Minshew made 25 of his 33 throws.
