QB Jake Browning was outstanding; he ran for a touchdown in addition to completing 32 of 37 throws for 354 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. The Bengals’ finest rushing operation of the season came from Joe Mixon and Chase Brown together, and Ja’Marr Chase recorded what has become a standard receiving line of 11-149-1. The Bengals’ triumph versus the Jaguars, who if they had defeated Cincinnati, would ultimately have been the AFC’s top seed, gives the Bengals a shot at a Wild Card place.
The Colts recently defeated the Tennessee Titans 31-28 in overtime on the road. Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. is having an outstanding season, having performed for 2 straight 100-yard games, and quarterback Gardner Minshew passed for 312 yards and 2 touchdowns. Indianapolis has won four straight games in spite of their injuries and Cincy’s loss of Joe Burrow at center should help the Colts, but if Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase are healthy, this may be a difficult game, especially considering how Jake Browning performed in Week 13. After two injuries to running back Jonathan Taylor and QB Anthony Richardson, their season appeared to be in jeopardy, but they are now in the running for a playoff berth. Indianapolis is currently occupying the final Wild Card slot in the AFC playoffs going into Week 14.
