Eagles Analysis: Hoping Kellen Moore will add more to the offense

In his three seasons as the Eagles’ head coach, Sirianni is 36-20, including in the postseason. However, a painful Wild Card loss last season marked the end of a season that had Philly start 10-1 and show a lot of potential. Philadelphia had a 10-1 start to the season. With victories over the Cowboys, Chiefs, and Bills, the Eagles were riding high following Week 12. However, advanced statistics weren’t as kind to Philadelphia. Seven of those ten victories came by a single touchdown, and the offense was not clicking as well as it had under Jalen Hurts’ tutelage the season before. After that, Philadelphia ended the season at Tampa Bay during Wild Card Weekend, having dropped five of its previous six games and placing second in the division. During the offseason, the Eagles made some notable additions, mostly to their coaching staff and offensive line. Kellen Moore was hired as the offensive coordinator in the latter.

Packers Analysis: A lot of pressure for Jordan Love

The Packers offensive is well-known to all, but it won’t be the deciding factor in Green Bay’s success this year. The offense of the Packers won’t seem all that different from the group that flourished in the latter part of the previous year. Under center, Jordan Love will continue to be surrounded by two reliable tight ends in Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave, and four competent receivers in Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks. Josh Jacobs will take Aaron Jones’ spot in the backfield, which is the largest offensive change. Additionally, Arizona offensive tackle Jonah Morgan was selected by Green Bay with its first-round selection. The Packers defense from the previous season will appear very different this time around. Jeff Hafley, the new defensive coordinator, assumes the position following his resignation as Boston College’s head coach. It is hoped that he would exploit the high-draft capital on the defense of Green Bay more.
