Game Preview

It’s Week 2 of the NFL season, and we’ve already caught thousands of people overreacting. The Buffalo Bills demolished the Los Angeles Rams on Opening Night, 31-10, while the Tennessee Titans lost a home game, 21-20, to open up the season against the Giants.

The Titans usually are a gritty team that rarely loses. Yet, as time expired, a missed field goal changed that entire narrative overnight against the Giants. Meanwhile, the Bills destroyed the Rams on the road and added more reason for Buffalo fans to be excited about the future of this franchise this season. But is Tennessee seriously that bad to be the underdogs?

Allen led the Bills with ten carries for 56 yards in the run game. He also scored another touchdown on the ground. Allen has a lot to work with this season. He found his favorite target, Stefon Diggs, eight times for 122 yards and a touchdown. He also completed four passes to Gabe Davis 88 yards, with one catch turning into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, the Titans struggled to stop the run against the Giants last week. Saquon Barkley added 164 yards on 18 carries and had a long rush of 68 yards. The Bills don’t have lethal running backs, but if they attempt to give Devin Singletary the ball on the ground early, the Bills can earn some big chunks of yards on the ground.

The Titans have a solid pass rush, but again, Allen is so good that he can escape and make more significant plays down the field. Both teams have a solid pass rush and good coverage. It comes down to rushing the football. Josh Allen will do a better job extending plays for the Bills, but Derrick Henry should be able to keep the Titans hanging around with solid production in the run game.
