Newcastle are currently on an unbeaten run of six games in the league, the longest currently active in the Premier League. After Wednesday’s win over Everton, they still have the best defensive record in the league, having only conceded nine goals so far.
Despite scoring 18 goals in the league this season, Newcastle don’t generally score a lot, with nine of those goals coming in only two games against Fulham and Brentford. As explained they also don’t concede a lot either, so it would be expected that this will be a tight game, especially based on Spurs’ performance in midweek.
