On Saturday, Cremonese will play host Torino at the Stadio Giovanni Zini for their first home game of the Serie A season. One criticism that has been leveled at the Toro manager is that he is overly cautious with a focus on defense. Of course, this can work to their benefit and a bet on the visitors to keep a clean sheet could certainly pay off, however, it can also lead to uninspiring offensive performances.
On Cremonese’s side, Alvini will have been disappointed that his side failed to pick up any points having narrowly lost away to Fiorentina and Roma. Two tough opponents away from home were hardly an ideal start to the season but they acquitted themselves well. The hosts will be hoping that they are on the winning side on this occasion, as they wish to secure their first points of the season this weekend.
