Two teams that haven’t had their best season yet are facing off against each other when Cremonese take a trip to Stadio Alberto Picco, where they’ll meet Spezia. Now looking at the other side, Spezia’s primary problem over the past few weeks has been with goal scoring. The Aquilotti have failed to register in either of their last two games, with just one in their last four. Gotti has just two players from his entire squad on the scoresheet, with left-back Simone Bastoni the default second-top scorer.
That being said, Cremonese’s poor defensive record should give the hosts the chance to right their poor offensive record. It’s very possible that both teams end up scoring, which should give Gotti’s strikers a much needed confidence boost.
