On Sunday, Atalanta take a trip to Marcantonio Bentegodi Stadium, where they’ll face off Hellas Verona in their 3rd match of the 2022-23 Serie A season. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have not been particularly active in the transfer market however have seemingly benefitted from stability and continuity. A poor performance from Kevin Lasagna against Bologna could see his spot under threat from Milan Djuric although the Italian is still likely to get the nod. Miguel Veloso could also be handed a start having returned from injury to feature from the bench last weekend. For Atalanta, Brandon Soppy could be handed his debut this weekend although will be competing with the popular Hans Hateboer for the right-back slot. Jose Palomino and Davide Zappacosta will both be available although are likely to start on the bench.
