Chris Curtis, is 36 years old and from Cincinnati. Curtis is an accomplished veteran with numerous fights under his belt but a struggle finding consistent success at middleweight.
His last loss was a controversial no contest against Nassourdine Imavov and before that a very difficult decision defeat against Kelvin Gastelum.
He will look to turn this loss around by producing an outstanding performance against Barriault.
Curtis stands out as having superior work rates and durability; his eye for defense and better body control should allow him to outwork Barriault in this brawl.
Barriault has tremendous strength and ruggedness but doesn’t possess enough speed or power to be an overwhelming force in the middleweight division. His best chance of victory lies in staying away from being hit and using his size and strength to his advantage; likely starting off slow until landing one big blow and scoring with it.
