This weekend sees the return of a UFC Fight Night event to the UFC APEX, and the lineup promises to be packed with action across several weight classes. This welterweight matchup between former TUF champion Bryan Battle and AJ Fletcher is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Battle, now 28 years old, has a 9-2 professional MMA record with three TKO/KO wins and four submissions. He was the winner of The Ultimate Fighter 29. He is 6 feet, 1 inch tall with a 77-inch reach and favors the orthodox fighting style.

Fletcher is a 26-year-old professional mixed martial arts prospect with a record of 10-2, nine of which have been won through knockout. Although he measures in at 5 feet 10 inches tall and 67 inches in reach, his physique is excellent for a welterweight.
Fletcher has made four appearances inside the octagon, taking 4.59 significant strikes and landing 3.54 in that time. His best work occurs when he has his opponent in his grasp, as evidenced by his 1.92 takedowns and 1.1 submissions per 15 minutes.
As the combat unfolds before your eyes, its details begin to take shape. When it comes to fighting style, Battle has a number of options for landing game-changing shots and perhaps knocking out his opponent.
Fletcher is a big, burly man who can really put the hurt on his opponents once he has them backed up against the cage. Fletcher is obviously not the best striker on the team. And he doesn’t expect to be victorious in battle there. He is most effective while applying pressure and creating pandemonium with his strikes, which he then hopes to convert into a clinch or takedown.
Assuming Battle maintains his distance and makes better use of his feet than in the past. Battle ends up winning the fight in a stunning fashion. Fletcher will have a hard time dealing with his reach and the precision of his punches.
