Chandler excels at fighting on the ground, and she displayed this ability during her debut against Julija Stoliarenko. An American, Chandler can strike hard while also scoring submission victories. She trains at Cesar Gracie’s gym in Stockton with the Diaz brothers and has plenty of grappling experience under her belt.
Chandler may be an effective striker herself, but she will have difficulty matching Norma Dumont’s speed and power in the early rounds of their bout this Saturday. Chandler can take advantage of Dumont’s height advantage by using kickboxing techniques; kickoffs could potentially open up opportunities to takedown. It is expected that Dumont will land early takedowns to earn points on the ground.
