Fight Preview
Tanner Boser and Aleksa Camur will meet for a Light Heavyweight fight on UFC Nashville on August 5. Both fighters are currently unbeaten but looking to break out from winless streaks; Camur has lost two straight fights while Boser was former UFC Heavyweight champion before transitioning into Light Heavyweight division in 2021.
Tanner Boser, who joined the UFC in 2019, holds a 4-5 record. Boser, who spent the majority of his career competing at Heavyweight, made the decision to move downward for his final matchup with Ion Cutelaba. Although he was unable to secure the victory, he is now returning at light heavyweight and believes that this is his finest weight division. Boser has a reach of 75.5 inches and is 6’2″ tall.
Since 2020, Aleksa Camur sports a 1-2 record in the UFC. Camur won his first battle, but during his subsequent matches he was outstruck by Nicolae Negumereanu and outwrestled by William Knight. The theory is that he might have been getting time off to work on his skills because he hasn’t engaged in combat in more than 2 years. He will be put to the test in his battle with a ravenous Tanner Boser. Camur has a 74-inch reach and is 6’1″ tall.
Camur has been an impressive competitor in the Light Heavyweight division so far, but has yet to put together an outstanding performance and earn himself a win. While his striking game and submission game are formidable assets, some of his opponents in this division have had difficulty keeping him under control and defeating Camur.
Both fighters can throw high volumes and land some powerful strikes, making the contest unpredictable and close. Whoever manages to land their opponent on the floor first will probably win; Camur excels at grappling while Boser has an excellent wrestling foundation.
