Raul Rosas Jr. Analysis: He’s only lost once

Two fights ago, Raul Rosas Jr. (8-1) lost his first professional fight to Christian Rodriguez; however, he recovered quickly to defeat Terrence Mitchell in his most recent outing. This fight, which was originally scheduled to take place in February, was postponed several months due to an illness that struck just before his last scheduled fight with Ricky Turcios. Rosas Jr. is now healthy, prepared, and eager to make up ground when he faces Ricky Turcios this coming weekend at UFC Louisville. After making a great impression on the Contender Series, Raul Rosas Jr., then just 17 years old, was signed to the UFC and quickly rose to fame. Since then, at the age of 19, he has an 8-1 record as a professional fighter. His first defeat came in April 2023 against Christian Rodriguez.

Ricky Turcios Analysis: Coming back to fighting after 2 years

After losing to Aiemann Zahabi in his UFC debut against Kevin Natividad via split decision back in 2022, Ricky Turcios (12-3) bounced back. When he finally faces Raul Rosas Jr. this weekend in Louisville, it will be his first fight in almost two years as he attempts to resume his winning ways. Since defeating Kevin Natividad via split decision in November 2022, Ricky Turcios has been out of action. The original plan was for him to fight Raul Rosas Jr. in February, but Rosas Jr. became ill just before the fight was set to take place. They will finally face off in the Octagon this weekend at UFC Louisville, after a long wait.
