Their most recent victory in all contests was more than a month ago. This was a 3-1 triumph away to AC Milan in the Champions League. In their last 6 games, they have won 2, drawn 4, and lost 3. The last 3 matches between BVB and Mainz have all finished in a 1-1 draw. They can secure 5th position with a victory here. If they lose, though, their advantage over the 3 clubs below them may be reduced to just one point. Dortmund will not have it easy if they don’t bring their best squad into the game.
