Round 13 of the German Bundesliga begins on Friday at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor when Darmstadt and FC Koln play.

The trip to a freshly promoted team on Friday will be a pivotal point in their season, particularly because Baumgart is under increasing pressure to enhance performance as soon as possible.
After finishing as the runners-up within the second division the previous season, Darmstadt made their first trip back to the Bundesliga since their relegation in 2017. They would definitely have challenges to maintain their position in the top division. Torsten Lieberknecht’s team had a great start, earning 7 points from their first 7 matches, but they have struggled greatly in the past few weeks, dropping 3 and tying 2 of their past 5 contests. Darmstadt’s solitary attempt on goal came from Honsak, but they were able to hold Freiburg at bay for the majority portion in order to record a second consecutive draw.
