The Rockies are sporting a 6-8 record in their last 14 home matches, but having an opportunity to end a divisional rival’s playoff chances, we might see their greatest showing in this series.
On the Rockies side of things, right-hander Austin Gomber will take to the mound in this game. Gomber has been pitching better recently, giving up 2 runs or less in 3 of his 4 appearances in July, but he now has a disappointing 5.83 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and an 8-8 record over 108 innings played for the season.
