They lost against the Warriors on Monday evening by a score of 28 as a result. Similar to the Pistons, the Pelicans’ outstanding defense helped them win a pair of matches early. As they did the previous season, New Orleans ranks among the top 10 defensively.
With Jalen Duren, Alec Burks, and Monte Morris sidelined, the Pistons are yet again shorthanded, whereas the Pelicans will be without Brandon Ingram, Naji Marshall, and Jose Alverado.
