Last night, the Lakers upset the Detroit Pistons 133-107. Incredibly, they extended their lead to 16 points at the half and more by the finish of the contest. D’Angelo Russell scored 35 points to lead the way. LeBron James finished with 25 points and 8 rebounds, and Anthony Davis contributed 28 points along with 16 boards. Off the bench, Christian Wood finished with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Notably, the Lakers made 81.6% of their attempted free throws and shot 51.1% overall, including 35.5% from three-point range. In addition, they forced 14 turnovers, blocked 10 shots, and won the rebounding war 49-39. Last season, the Lakers won two of three against OKC. Moreover, they have won four of the last five matches at Oklahoma City and ended up 7-3 in the previous 10.
