The Bulls outshot them in the 2nd overtime, starting with a commanding 8-0 run.
Pistons Analysis: Looking not to be the worst team in the league
After Detroit defeated the Chicago Bulls 105-95 on the road on Tuesday, they can now officially celebrate not being the worst team in the league. With the win, the Pistons improved their record to 9-49 for the season, half a game ahead of the humiliating Washington Wizards. The Pistons’ defensive effort of the season was also their best, as they limited Chicago to 39% from the floor and just 6% (2 for 29) from 3-point range. The team’s 6-game losing streak was ended with the outcome, which also marked their 3rd win in their previous ten games overall. Now, Detroit will try to win two straight games in the 2023–2024 season for the 4th time. The Pistons have won 7 of their last 27 games (.259 winning %) since that historically poor run that saw them lose 28 straight games.
