Suns Analysis: They’ve won 3 of previous 5 matches
As the Suns learned the hard way on Thursday, it’s difficult to win when you make 14 less 3-pointers than your rivals. They were defeated 127–112 on the road by the Boston Celtics. At least 20 points were scored by 4 different Suns, led by Bradley Beal (22) and Devin Booker (23). Phoenix has the eighth-best field goal, 3-point, and free-throw percentages in the NBA, but also has the 25th-highest turnover rate per game. The latter has contributed to the offense’s underwhelming performance, as the Suns, who have three players with 20 points or more per game in their careers, are just 12th in scoring.
