With 24 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds, Spencer Dinwiddie led his team in the win, while Royce O’Neale also had a great game with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Nets’ shooting accuracy and defensive tenacity have both improved significantly in their last few games, laying the groundwork for a difficult test against the strong Toronto Raptors. After the disastrous ‘Big 3’ experiment with Kevin Durant, the Nets made the decision to start over, but they haven’t committed to a full rebuild just yet. They have a number of players who would be excellent on teams that are in the hunt, but the team isn’t willing to trade them in order to acquire picks.
