On December 14, the Big Ten Network will broadcast the Jacksonville State Gamecocks’ non-conference game from the Kohl Center against the Wisconsin Badgers.

Following that, the team went on a six-game winning streak that included victories over Michigan State, Robert Morris, Virginia, SMU, Western Illinois, and Marquette. Wisconsin outrebounded the Spartans, 70–57, and shot 43.5% from three-point range while pulling down 36 rebounds. The Badgers lost their most recent game as they squared off against Arizona. Wisconsin fell behind 48–31 at the break and let up 50 more points in the 2nd half to lose 98–73. John Blackwell, who finished with 17 points and 7 rebounds, led the squad in scoring. The Badgers are formidable opponents on defense as in terms of points surrendered per game, they are rated 59th in the country and they rank only 269th in 3-point field goal prevention and 275th in defensive field goal percent.
