And to make things worse, Cal recently won on the Bruins’ home court. UCLA has potential, but they must find a way to swiftly assemble it. They played the sides in Oregon to a split on their travels, but unexpectedly dropped their home stand versus Stanford and Cal. Guard Sebastian Mack paced UCLA with 20 points during the defeat against Cal. Sebastian Mack, a 6’3 freshman guard, leads UCLA in scoring with 14.3 points per game. During their recent homestand, Mack scored 20 points versus Cal and 14 over Stanford. Mack tops the team in free throw attempts (91), attacks the hoop more often than he attempts threes, and has hit just 11 threes this season.
