It may have seemed unreasonable to consider Saint Mary’s as strong favorites for that game, considering their inconsistent performance throughout the season. Nevertheless, the Gaels managed to secure a 17 point victory over USF in their away game.
Now is the time for San Francisco to push through and gather a convincing win against one of their direct championship rivals. Of course it is easier said than done, however we don’t expect Gonzaga’s offensive creativity to improve in such a short amount of time.
Overall, we do see a San Francisco squad capable enough to break a shaky Gonzaga, thus we give the edge to the Dons.
