In college basketball action on Friday, the Clemson Tigers and the UAB Blazers square off at US Cellular Center.
UAB, on the other hand, finished third in Conference USA competition in 2022–23 after going 29–10 overall. The Blazers advanced to the NIT championship match before being eliminated by North Texas, and they also fell to Florida Atlantic during the conference tournament final. The Blazers lost their opening game to Winthrop by a narrow margin, falling short by two points. They will aim to get their first victory of the season by defeating the Tiger in an attempt to recover from the setback.
UAB won its opening game with 71 points. They converted 15.8% of their three-pointers and 33.8% of their field goals. The Blazers’ top player, Javian Davis, finished with 20 points, 15 rebounds, as well as 4 steals. Clemson’s initial match saw them score 78 points. They converted 40.6% of their three-pointers and 43.5% of their field goals. With 5 boards and 20 points, PJ Hall paced the Tigers. RJ Godfrey contributed 12 points and 5 rebounds, and Ian Schieffelin ended with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
