Two SEC rivals are set to clash in Arkansas, both aiming to regain their winning form. The Arkansas Razorbacks are set to host the Texas A&M Aggies on Tuesday night. Texas A&M enters this game with a lot of momentum after pulling off a surprising 97-92 overtime victory against the #6 ranked Kentucky Wildcats in their last game at home.
In their previous game, Texas A&M managed to turn the tables by defeating #6 Kentucky in overtime at their home court, after experiencing a slump where they had lost 4 out of their last 6 games. The Aggies have now achieved a 10-6 overall record for the season and currently hold a 1-2 in the SEC following their recent triumph. In their game against Kentucky, Texas A&M took an early 7 point lead and extended it to as much as 11 points in the first half, however started to lose ground as the game went on.
Arkansas received their third consecutive defeat when they were dominated by Florida in their recent away game. The Razorbacks’ overall record now stands at 9-7, with a winless 0-3 record in SEC play. As they aim to regain their momentum, they will strive to bounce back on their home turf. Arkansas allowed Florida a 24-3 run in the early stages of the first half, resulting in a significant deficit of 29-10 by halftime. This massive gap was more than enough to set the tone of the entire game. The Razorbacks found themselves trailing by 13 points and faced a maximum 25 point deficit throughout the game, ultimately leading to their defeat.
Both squads are coming from exhausting matches, however we believe momentum will play a big part this time around. Thus we expect Texas A&M to grab the win.
