Colorado defeated Utah in the Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinals in their last game, earning their 7th straight victory and most likely an at-large ticket to the March Madness tournament. The Buffaloes finished the season with an overall record of 23-9 and a 13-7 record in conference play. Colorado led Utah 21–7 early in the game, but with 2:47 remaining in the 1st half, Utah went on a 23–8 run to take a 30-29 lead. With 17:33 left in the game, the Buffaloes took the lead and never looked back thanks to a crucial 10-1 run that they scored in both half to take a 39-31 lead. After that, Colorado continued to lead Utah, never letting them get closer than four points.
Washington St Analysis: Coming off a big win
In their last game in Sin City, the Cougars upset the Stanford Cardinals 79-62. They got off to a quick 45-29 lead at the half. They eventually succeeded in holding onto the lead and flying to victory. With 16 points and 7 of 12 shots from the field, Isaac Jones led the way. Myles Rice, meanwhile, scored 14 points on 6 of 13 shots from the field.
