In order to get an NCAA tournament bid, North Carolina State had to win 5 games in a row in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament to begin its March Madness journey. The Wolfpack became the 1st team with ten or more seeds to win the ACC title, defeating teams from Louisville, Syracuse, Duke, Virginia, and North Carolina. Nobody wants to play NC State in the postseason since they are among the most seasoned teams in the nation according to minutes played.
