Texas Tech Analysis: In search of a bounceback win

Texas Tech experienced their second consecutive defeat when they faced Cincinnati at their home game on Saturday night. The Red Raiders now have an overall record of 16-5 and are currently tied for 3rd place in the Big 12 thanks to a 5-3 record, trailing behind Houston and Kansas for the top position. Despite trailing by 9 points early in the game, Texas Tech managed to rally some energy and take a 1 point lead at halftime. The second half was a closely contested battle, with neither team holding a lead of more than 5 points. Unfortunately, Texas Tech couldn’t hold on and conceded the final 4 points of the match, resulting in a loss.

Baylor Analysis: Happy to play at home

Baylor secured their 2nd consecutive victory by narrowly defeating Iowa State, managing to hold on despite a last second shot that was deemed invalid for being taken after the buzzer. The Bears managed to survive a deep shot by Milan Momcilovic, while also witnessing their coach Scott Drew being ejected for the first time in his career. This clutch win propelled Baylor to an overall record of 16-5 and a tied position for 3rd place in the Big 12 conference.

Our basketball analysis suggests it will definitely be a close matchup, however with Baylor at home we expect them to take this one.
