The Charlotte 49ers and Liberty Flames will play the opening game of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Series on Friday afternoon in Charlotte. The 49ers defeated Maine 69-52 at home on Monday evening during the team’s campaign opening match. The Flames thrashed Mid-Atlantic Christian of the NAIA 103-43 at home in their debut this season. The Spectrum Center will host the schools’ very first meeting.
